You want to create a workplace where people collaborate with trust, contribute with confidence, and stay for the long haul.

You know your teams do their best work when people feel safe, included, and like they genuinely belong. But when culture is unclear - or belonging is treated like a “nice-to-have” - People check out, ideas get lost, and performance suffers.

Many workplaces have good intentions when it comes to building an inclusive team, but few give their people the real tools to practice belonging every day.

Without a shared language or behavior standard, people retreat.
Meetings get quieter. Innovation slows. Turnover climbs.

When employees don’t feel connected, they start asking:
Do I really belong here?
Will I be heard if I speak up?
Can I be myself without consequence?

No one should have to spend 40+ hours a week in a place where they feel like they don’t belong.
Every employee deserves to feel seen, valued, and safe to be themselves at work.
And it’s just wrong for talented people to be overlooked, excluded, or diminished because a workplace hasn’t created a culture of belonging.

At Thirlby Co., we believe belonging isn’t a soft skill - it’s a strategic advantage.

We help companies turn values into behaviors through experiential training that equips your people to lead with emotional intelligence, communicate with courage, and create cultures of psychological safety from the inside out.

Belonging is more than inclusion. It’s the day-to-day experience of feeling respected, valued, and essential to the team.

The Belonging Blueprint is a practical, research-backed training co-designed by Margie DuBois, Shomari Jones, and Jesse Gershuny that helps teams build a culture of connection and innovation.

When people feel like they belong:
They speak up.
They collaborate with trust.
They stay engaged - and stay longer.
Innovation increases and culture becomes a competitive advantage.

When belonging is missing, even the best employees hold back - or leave.
They withhold ideas. Decline stretch roles. Stop showing up fully.
And culture silently erodes from the inside out.

The Belonging Blueprint helps your people build a culture where every voice matters, every team member feels safe, and everyone can do their best work - together.
