About The Thirlby Company
At The Thirlby Company, we help people build the kind of confidence that drives clarity, impact, and fulfillment — whether you’re leading a team, navigating a career transition, or simply seeking more joy in your everyday life.
Confident leadership isn’t optional — it’s foundational. It’s the root of healthy teams and thriving individuals. Without it, performance suffers, burnout rises, and great people hold back or walk away.
Here’s what we believe:
Confidence is not a personality trait — it’s a practiced skill.
You don’t learn it in school. The world often rewards the loudest voice in the room and calls it confidence. But real confidence looks different. It’s about curiosity. Self-awareness. Boundaries. Self-trust.
That’s the kind of confidence we help people build — with practical tools, honest reflection, and intentional practice.
How we work:
Learning – Interactive workshops, trainings, and retreats that equip leaders and teams with skills to work better together.
Speaking – Keynotes and Spark Sessions that shift mindsets and spark new possibilities.
Coaching – 1:1 coaching to help individuals build confidence, navigate transitions, and lead with authenticity.
Whether you’re here for personal growth or organizational change, our goal is the same: to build confidence at the core — because that’s what leads to happier lives, stronger teams, and more fulfilling careers.
The Thirlby Company was founded by Margie (Thirlby) DuBois — a certified coach, facilitator, and former nonprofit leader. With 12 years of executive leadership experience, Margie brings real-world insight and radical empathy to every room she’s in.
Her work combines evidence-based practice with human-centered design — always tailored, always relational, and always real.
If you’re ready to show up more confidently in your life and leadership, you’re in the right place.
