Kara Schmitt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, organizational consultant, facilitator, and leadership coach with more than 25 years of experience partnering with leaders, teams, and systems across the nonprofit and community impact space. She is deeply passionate about supporting people who are doing meaningful, complex work and who want to lead with clarity, integrity, and heart.

With a professional background rooted in both direct service and leadership, Kara brings a grounded, compassionate approach to her coaching. Her work is shaped by a deep understanding of how individuals and systems intersect, allowing her to support clients in ways that honor both personal growth and organizational context.

Kara creates a coaching space that is reflective, restorative, and strengths-based. She helps leaders reconnect with their values, clarify what matters most, and move forward with intention—especially during seasons when leadership feels demanding, uncertain, or isolating.
