The Imperfect Person by Tory Eletto
We strongly recommend that all coaching clients listen to this podcast at the beginning of your coaching journey, starting with episode 1, and going in order. The episodes are short and sweet, informative, and easy to follow. Tory Eletto is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and does an amazing job breaking down key coaching and psychology concepts in a digestible way. This will help you build a strong foundation for your coaching learning and growth journey. We also recommend following @nytherapist on Instagram for super helpful content.

Dare to Lead with Brené Brown
”Conversations with change-catalysts, culture-shifters, and more than a few troublemakers who are innovating, creating, and daring to lead.” This is our favorite podcast on leadership, hands down. Also because Brené Brown is a genius, uses research to back all her work, and has some of the most meaningful conversations of anyone we know. This podcast is available on Spotify, but you can also listen on the show website.

For The Love With Jen Hatmaker
We just love Jen Hatmaker. You listen to her and want her as your new best friend. She has such heart-centered and vulnerable conversations that are so thoughtful and relatable. While the podcast is designed for women, we believe anyone can get value out of her content. “For the love of all that is good, right, wrong, hard, fun, perplexing, wondrous and thought-provoking, Jen’s here for it all with eye-opening conversations with some of the best people on earth.”

The Marie Forleo Podcast
Marie Forleo is an entrepreneur with a goal to help you become the person you want to be. Her show provides “actionable strategies for greater happiness, success, motivation, creativity, productivity, love, health, contribution and fulfillment — often with a lot of laughs. From business, marketing and career advice, to tackling failure, disappointment and fear, to philanthropy and doing our part to make the world a more loving, just and equitable place — we cover it all.” We recommend this podcast for anyone who is an ambitious, creative, goal-getter who loves to learn.

Ten Percent Happier with Dan Harris
This is a great show if you love learning and using practical approaches for setting goals. On this show, “Dan talks with meditation teachers, top scientists, and even the odd celebrity. Dan's approach is seemingly modest, but secretly radical: happiness is a skill you can train, just like working your bicep in the gym. Your progress may be incremental at first, but like any good investment, it compounds over time.”

We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle
If you want to listen to authentic, meaningful, funny, and relatable conversations about life and work, this podcast is for you. Glennon Doyle’s commitment: “We will drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard. Each week we will bring our hard to you and we will ask you to bring your hard to us and we will do what we were all meant to do down here: Help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, more free and less alone.”

WorkLife with Adam Grant
At The Thirlby Company, we consider Adam Grant one of the most brilliant minds around. As an organizational psychologist, Adam Grant “takes you inside the minds of some of the world’s most unusual professionals to discover the keys to a better work life. From learning how to love your rivals to harnessing the power of frustration, one thing’s for sure: You’ll never see your job the same way again.” This is a fantastic show for people who care about creating really healthy and intentional work communities.

Dream Big Podcast with Bob Goff and Friends
This is the podcast to listen to if you want a virtual hug. Bob Goff interviews wonderful leaders and happy community champions about making an impact to this world. While Bob does identify as a Christian and share about his religion on this podcast, we feel anyone can get value out of his show’s goal to “help you discover, declare, and realize [your ambition] so you can have a fulfilling life and impact the world for good.”

The Highest Self Podcast with Sahara Rose
This is a totally different podcast. If you want to explore your spiritual side and get really curious about the way you approach the world and get to know yourself, give it a listen! This podcast was named the #1 spirituality podcast, which “will teach you how to discover your dharma (soul's purpose), embody your fullest expression and blossom into your highest self, while having FUN!”

Oprah’s Super Soul
Because a list wouldn’t be complete without Oprah. We’ve listened to Oprah’s Super Soul conversations and podcast episodes for years, and gained countless insights.
